Delivery During Coronavirus

I’m sure you’ll understand that getting some orders in the post during the Coronavirus crisis can be take a bit longer than usual. Delivery will usually be in 3-5 working days, but please allow a little longer in the current situation.

Ordering Individual Cards?

If you’re ordering individual cards for delivery direct to the recipient, order by 12 midday any day of the week and I’ll post it the same day.

If your order comes in after 12 midday, I’ll get it in the post for you the next day.

So, if you’re ordering, for example, 5 cards that you’d like me to personalise and send direct to 5 different friends and family, place your order by 12 midday and they’ll all be in the post the same day. Order after 12pm and they’ll all be posted tomorrow.

Ordering Multiple Cards For Delivery to You?

If you’re ordering multiple cards for delivery to yourself, they need to go in a larger envelope and be weighed by Jackie who runs the village’s mobile Post Office before going in the post box.

During the current lockdown, Jackie can only bring the mobile Post Office to the village once a week (Thursdays).

So, to be sure of receiving an order like this in good time, please place your order by a Wednesday evening for posting the next day.

Can you place orders with a mixture of cards to be posted directly to the recipient as well as multiple cards to be sent to you?

Yes, that’s no problem. Cards that go in the post without needing to be weighed will go in the post today or tomorrow, depending on when you place your order. Everything else will wait until I can get Jackie to weigh them at the mobile Post Office on Thursday.

Hi, I'm Melanie and this is Barney

Cards, original art and prints sent with love from my part of the world to yours!

In these unsettling, uncertain and frightening times, more than ever I send love from my part of the world to yours. I’ve been wondering what part my wee business can play. Not being a key worker or service, what I am about is helping people keep in touch by sending cards and gifts. In these times of isolation, it is more important then ever to keep in touch. Therefore, during the measures in place for Covid-19, I am offering free delivery across my entire shop. If it helps, I can even write the card for you and send it directly to the recipient. I will post them in my wee village postbox on my daily walk. Keep well and stay safe. Melx

Artworks inspired by the Scottish Borders & Northumberland, sent with love from my part of the world to yours.

All of my designs are hand-painted in acrylic, watercolour and ink from my studio. My inspiration comes from the beautiful country side just outside my window.

Hand-painted wooden hearts finished with a high-gloss resin. A perfect gift for anyone!

Here is a collection of cards, prints and magnets inspired by one of my favourite foods – Cupcakes!! During the lockdown I have been busy baking – mostly cupcakes and it has seemed to influence my art!

A4 Prints of original paintings on high-quality card.

Browse a range of unique abstract acrylic paintings, all on canvas in various sizes.

Bring the countryside and seashore to your home with my unique artworks, inspired by the stunning scenery surrounding me every day.
